For broker principals and distribution heads

The intelligence layer your advisors open every morning.

Prudence sits on the policy data you already hold and ranks the book by renewal risk and coverage opportunity. Each advisor starts the day with the exact conversations that protect and grow the book — without learning a new system.

Built by operators who have implemented policy administration on Guidewire and EIS.

Your economics

What one point of retention is permanently worth

Enter your own figures. The defaults are illustrative. The formula is shown so every number can be checked.

—
Premium at risk each year at current retention
—
Commission at risk each year
—
Commission per +1 point of retention, per year
—
Commission at +5 points of retention, per year

At-risk premium = policies × average premium × (1 − retention). Commission = at-risk premium × commission rate. Each +1 point = policies × average premium × 1% × commission rate.

Illustrative only. Excludes the additional premium that surfaces when coverage gaps are systematically reviewed.

Where decision quality is lost

Three places the book quietly leaks value

Risk signals sit unused until the client has already decided

Claim history, premium movement, long periods of silence — the data that predicts a lapse already exists. Without ranking, it is noticed only after the client has moved.

Coverage gaps remain invisible across the book

Most clients carry incomplete protection. Finding those gaps across hundreds of policies requires analysis that advisors rarely have time to perform manually.

High-value conversations start only when the client initiates

The most productive call is the one the client did not know they needed. Without a ranked list, that conversation happens only when someone has spare capacity.

Before and after

What changes in daily operations

The targets below are what a branch pilot is designed to test. Baseline measures are agreed with you before day one.

QuestionTodayWith Prudence (pilot target)
When is an at-risk renewal first visible? When the lapse appears or the client callsRanked list ahead of the renewal window, reviewed each morning
How much of the book is visible to the principal?Estimated or reconstructed at month-endShown by advisor and by branch, updated daily

How are coverage opportunities found? When a client raises it, or at the next reviewSurfaced across the book, with the gap and suggested conversation

Operating model

Designed to disappear into the day

Runs on your extracts

Uses the renewal and policy files the branch already produces. No integration project and no IT dependency to begin.

One ranked list per advisor

Each morning: a short list with one clear reason per line. No dashboards to interpret and no reports to assemble.

Logged in a single step

Outcome of each conversation is recorded in one field. The list updates itself. Training takes about twenty minutes.

The pilot

A 30-day branch pilot with measured outcome agreed in advance

We agree the baseline and the success measure with you before we start. If the result does not justify continuing, we part with no contract and no invoice.

  1. Week 0: agree the branch, the data extract, and the baseline measures.
  2. Weeks 1–2: ranked renewal-risk and coverage lists run for the branch and reviewed with the principal.
  3. Weeks 3–4: advisors work the lists; outcomes are logged and measured against the baseline.
  4. Day 30: a one-page readout in rupees — retained premium and new premium — with a clear go or no-go.
  5. You keep every policy and every commission the pilot helps you close.

Long-term economics

Built for the book that compounds

Broker economics have always rewarded the ability to keep and deepen relationships, not merely to originate them. The branches that consistently know which clients need attention, and why, protect more of the commission they have already earned and surface more of the opportunities that already sit inside the book.

Prudence is designed as a permanent intelligence layer for that work. It does not depend on any particular set of distribution rules. It improves the daily quality of decisions the branch makes with the data it already owns.

Who is behind it

We built the systems that generate your renewal data

Policy administration, claims and FNOL on Guidewire and EIS Insurance ERP systems, from RFP through go-live. We understand where the data is created, where it becomes incomplete, and how it can be made useful without adding another system the branch has to manage.

The Book Exposure Checklist

A short, self-administered checklist to size renewal risk and coverage opportunity in your own branch. Calculations are shown. Useful whether or not you take a pilot.

One email. No follow-up call unless you ask for one.

Thank you. The checklist will be sent to that address.
